Casey and Raphael are still good friends, as Casey is initially the only one to know about Raphael's secret "Nightwatcher" identity. Indeed, Casey works as a delivery man for April's shipping company, although he remains a vigilante by night. This Casey has developed a serious relationship with April, sharing an apartment and attempting to settle down together. In the 2007 CG-animated TMNT, Casey is voiced by Chris Evans. Unlike most versions, Casey seems to forge a bond with Donatello instead of Raphael. April and Casey also develop a relationship by the end of the film. During a conversation with April, Casey reveals that he used to be an ice hockey player before he got injured. Just like in the comics, Casey first encounters and fights Raphael, later coming to the turtles' rescue when the foot clan ambushes them in April's apartment. In the original 1990 TMNT film, Casey is portrayed by Elias Koteas. Finally, the 2018 Rise of the TMNT depicts a radically different character: Cassandra Jones, a female iteration of Casey. In a humorous twist, Casey is terrified of rats, including the turtles' master, Splinter. Casey is also best friends with Raphael and his arch-rival is Hun, much like in the 2003 series. This version once again has an attraction to April, although he also competes with Donatello for her attention.

The 2012 series depicts a younger, high school-age Casey. Casey is also a frequent enemy of the Purple Dragon gang, as these criminals murdered his father when Casey was a young boy. Indeed, the two are married in the show's finale, and in the future, their great-grandson is named Cody Jones. Casey's first meeting with Raphael is adapted directly from his first appearance, he frequently utters the phrase "goongala" and he develops a serious relationship with April. In the 2003 series, Casey is much more like his Mirage counterpart. Additionally, Casey has no particular bond with Raphael and never develops a relationship with April. This Casey, however, never removes his mask on screen. Much like the comics, Casey is a vigilante with a violent hatred of criminals. The 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon is fairly sparse in its depiction of Casey Jones, who only appears in five episodes of the series. Later on, Raphael introduces Casey to the other turtles. Just like the Mirage comics, Casey and Raphael became fast friends, patrolling the streets as vigilantes together. During another of his father's daily beatings, Casey is saved by Raphael, who was homeless at the time. This younger version of Casey has a rough home life, with a mother who died from cancer and an abusive alcoholic father. In the more recent IDW series, Casey has a different background as a college scholarship hockey player. Over time, Casey also developed a romantic relationship with April. The vigilante even took the turtles to his grandmother's old farmhouse in Northampton, cementing his place with the group. Later, Casey came to the turtles' aid when they're attacked by the Shredder in April O'Neil's home. This clash was quickly resolved, and Casey and Raphael became fast friends. The turtle stopped Casey from killing some muggers, causing an initial conflict between the two. Casey was introduced as a violent, hot-tempered vigilante whose anger concerned even Raphael. In the original Mirage series, Casey first appeared in the Raphael one-shot, by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
